Badilag Prepares Budget Allocation for 2011 Legal AidsJakarta | badilag.net/english
“The coordination meeting is essential because registrar is the motor of court administration,” Secretary of Ditgen Badilag, Farid Ismail said on the opening of the meeting. Director General of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, and his two Directors, Hidayatullah and Sayed Usman, were also seen at the meeting. “Each registrar is accompanied by two staff members who assist the registrar in formulating RKAKL (Budget planning),” Farid said. “We have formulated budget allocation along with the details for prodeo cases, circuit court and legal aid post in the court,” Head Division of Budgeting and Planning of Badilag, Azhari, said. “Budget for legal aid implementation in the religious courts is Rp. 11 billions. It is relatively little budget, but for the early stages, this budget is encouraging,” he added. “The question now is how all Indonesia’s religious courts utilize the budget effectively. Our national target for the year 2011 is that we serve at least 11.550 justice seekers who are economically less fortunate,” Head Subdivision of Planning and Budgeting, Sutarno, said. ![]() From right: Sahwan from the Supreme Court Planning Bureau, Azhari, Umiyati and Sutarno from Badilag.Meanwhile, Director General of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, urged the leadership of all religious courts to pay special attention to this program. “This program has become a national program which was familiarly called as justice for all program,” he said. All participants of the coordination meeting show their supports for the implementation of the program. “The program has to be socialized and familiarized. We have to anticipate the implementation of the program in the future because it has correlation with budget and public interests,” one participant said. (c) |
